The sun drips with emotion,
Masquerading in crimson and violets,
Falling beneath the horizon,
Eradicating all fears...

If I catch a fading sunbeam,
Will it take me away,
Flying me to another world?
Or will I simply disappear?
Lost forever,
Unknown,
Forgotten.

Will the sunbeam still shine,
On the other side of havens?
Or will it too die away?
Lost forever,
Like myself.

And if we both shall parish,
Will it really be the end?
Or can I catch a falling star,
And ride it on home...
