Description A fallen angel with no wings,
Lost in time, separated at birth,
From the ones of long ago,
The ones who share her ancient soul.

Placed here, am I, to sing out loud,
Pushing my voice through the crowd?
Or shall I wait, and silently sleep,
Dreaming of life as it should be?

Do I stand for my hearts song,
Or slip into the fading dawn?
Do I stand for the truth of yore,
Or listen to the days own tale?

What to do in a time unknown,
When one is strung to the past?
Shall we live for what is shown,
Or show the world how to live?

Am I a light in the dark,
Or the darkest light?

whoa!! its the human condition in 18 lines!! way to go. i love the deep imagry, the connection of life to a song, and the questions we ask about our existance (why am i here?) everyday. it is a lovely poem (tho i have come to expect nothing less of your work) and i thoroughly enjoyed it

We are born in our time for any number of reasons. Whether it be our belief system or our doctrine. We each have an obligation to try to show the world our light and I believe that your light to the world is one to illuminate for all to see. Great work dear.
