An epoch is awakened,
A prodigy in disguise,
Beneath the torpid seas,
The tranquil pearl does loll,
Sands saccharinely solace,
The lethal, officious tolls,
The cruel and tainted wind,
Depreciates a saintly glow,
The passing of each vessel,
A cruel, unmerited, woe,
The ruthless, bitter mass,
A shivering babe below,
Only ever wishing,
Havened love to bestow,
