"You seek me at strange hours yet again, Rosh. I know not what more I can tell you." Barath was growing tired of the Shadow God's now common visits.
"I have tried what you suggested Barath but not a word of yours has helped them remember me. The people still see through me and not a one remembers the festivals of old."
"You must continue to try, they will see you-"
"They have begun to name me as a Demon, Barath. When they see my eyes they do not see a guardian who watches over them but a BEAST. Your knowledge has no vision of what I have had to endure nor have you ever had the terrible, hideous fear of being forgotten."
Rosh cast his gaze downward. "I am desperate. I will...try again, despite my failures. Perhaps it is time I tried other methods." The God turned away from glowing figure. "I will not bother you any longer."
"You grow darker, Rosh. Do not allow yourself to sink into that darkness, or you will soon find yourself fitting of the title the humans have newly bestowed upon you. Gain back their trust Rosh and restore your honor."
A grin shrouded by billowing shadow slid hidden from Barath's sight.
"The trust they had in me was buried long ago. I doubt it will surface again..."

Another story piece done~ Rosh is my favorite evil son. He was once honored as a God of protection who watched over you through way of shadows. If danger approached from behind your shadow would defend you. Rosh's followers slowly died out and his presence became legend, forcing the once loved God to become forgotten....
