I randomly thought of Ambrosia's love of feathers simply because of the fact she wishes she was a pegasus. She has the heart and body of one, just not the wings. Stormy helps sometimes, be it from his glider or his simple presence whether he knows it or not on the latter. He knows of Ambrosia's insecurities of not being a pegasus sometimes, so he often wraps his wings around her whenever she allows him to in the right mood.
Fluttershy had decided to visit Rainbow and her family in their cloud-home, Ambrosia, being able to walk on clouds because she is a pegasus mostly, tagged along and when Fluttershy went home, Ambrosia decided to stay the night. She usually stays in the guest room, next to Prism's room, but tonight she decided to sleep in Stormy's room without Rainbow or Thunder knowing
After Storm was asleep, Ambrosia decided to just marvel over his feathers in a way she'd never do if he was awake. Simply because it'd embaress the hell out of her. But she secretly just loves burying her face in his feathers and relaxing.
Just a little fact about these two. They are cuddly friends when the mood is right. But when not, they are more commonly seen just screeching at one another in bird-horse, attracting falcons because of the similar screeches.
