God it's been a long time since i've done full pieces like this. I got new brushes for backgrounds and I absolutely love them lmao. Don't mind the empty space. It's just maple's thought process.

1) Maple catching a squirrel. Gaze upon his beauty

2) Crouching to catch something. Are we the prey? Good question

3) Totally not reffed off Lion King lmao. Teaching his son to crouch properly. Totally not reffed off Mufasa and Simba doing the same thing.

4) Maple was on hunting patrol and a particularly stupid bird flew directly into his face and died

5) Border Patrol with Wolfmane, Badgercloud and son

6) Another border patrol but from up high. Was it an excuse to draw a tree? Yes. He is tall. he sees all. He's useful. He's patrolling.
