History:

Kithood: Mountainpaw was a very rambunctious and adventurous kit, having been quite an early bloomer with opening his eyes, opening them in the first few days and exploring outside of the Nursery on his own while his "mother"(his mother died after having him raised by another queen) slept, sneaking around all he could and trying to avoid being seen. All the warriors knew when he was out, seeing as there was always a dark ginger, fluffy tail popping up from tufts of grass and small giggles preceding being pounced on by a fluffball. However, once he wandered out of the camp when he was about 5 moons old, falling into the creek and nearly drowning if not for a warrior hearing him and saving him in the nick of time. He was expected to be afraid of water, however he loved it. He taught himself to swim within the next few days in whatever water source he could find that was deep enough, leading to his preferred hunting style.

Apprenticeship: Though he tries hard to concentrate and listen to his mentor, he tends to lose focus and gets detracted very easily, that leading him to almost running nose first into a fox den more than once. His mentor is in for quite the pawful. He is a skilled fighter and hunter, he just has an attention problem
(it's short because he's still in his apprenticeship and all)

Gingerwing : My mentor! She is so nice and I know many don't get what she's saying, but I think I know her very very well and I love training with her so much! I love being her apprentice so much, I can't wait to be a warrior but I kinda don't wanna at the same time cause that means I won't train with her so much anymore. I dunno. I love her!

Mountainpaw hummed softly to himself, purring happily as he intertwined long flower stems, a skill he learned from Ashheart last time he was in the medicine cat den, having watched closely how they worked and used it for his own amusement, scooting his head under the ring of flora and adjusting it a bit before laughing. He could entertain himself on his own, though when he heard the shuffling of grass behind him, he stood and whirled around with a wide smile "Hello there!!" he greeted excitedly.
