Story:

Maple took Gaia out for a ride in the desert on a sunny afternoon, the weather was perfect and they could hear the birds singing.
after a while on the trail however, they came across a stunning mare, the mare was skittish and the mood affected Gaia. when an eagle started to get close she got spooked and bolted, Maple half fell and half rolled off,
she wasn't willing to let the mare out of her sight, and she knew Gaia, she would run straight back home to her feeding through. Maple crawled closer to the skittish mare, if she could get her uncle to come over with a few friends they could capture this desert gem and bring her home. she texted her uncle while she hid, watching the horse.
after a little while, her uncle and his friend Toby came tailriding with their geldings, these where sturdy horses that's captured a few wild horses already. they ran up on the mare, spooking her in the direction of the ranch.
she was easy to drive, and the Tripp there went smoothly. at the ranch a few of my uncle's guys were waiting, they had opened up the sturdiest pen and were mounted on their own steeds. as we got near they joined the run, walling in the wild horse between themselves and guided her in the large opening. the last guy jumped off his horse and dragged the massive gates closed. before the mare knew what was happening they had her trapped. they worked a double gate system to get the other horses out, the mare was left alone in her enclosure. Gaia had arrived home before everyone else, she was eating her feed happily, ignoring the racket outside her stable. Maple un tacked the sweaty horse and lead her out into the enclosure next to the wild horse, she brought a calm shettlands pony as well, knowing that Gaia wasn't the calmest horse herself. now she just had to wait and see if the wild mare calmed down. the fences were old and hadn't been used the last few years, so maple just had to hope that the mare didn't break out during the night
