No I haven't forgotten about this project yet, I was waiting for the perfect moment to submit it
Yay it's the year of the Boar, which means it's Kagura's year!

Chinese character behind her says "boar", silhouette of boar taken from postage stamp. Kagura is sketched and coloured with coloured pencils, and the layout is done digitally.

My mom is a boar/pig, but unlike Kagura, she doesn't make a mess of housework or mollywhop people out of the blue. Β She's a very quiet person, a bit like Kisa would be when she grows up, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have a fiery temper, prone to frequent flares; she and Kagura DEFINTELY have that in common.

Actually this is a project that I started a long time ago (in fact I'm almost done), where I did one of these for each of the characters in Fruits Basket (where some of the characters represented the animals of the Chinese zodiac). And since the boar was next on my list, I found the perfect time to submit this
