"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow"

A few days ago, it was snowing, and it put me in a wintery romantic mood So I drew this, of course Murrue and Mwu again. *sigh* I guess they were outside, maybe shopping, and it just started to snow >///<

I like how Murrue's expression turned out, and Mwu's eyes

I randomly chose the designs and colours for the clothes, though Murrue's coat is based off my own

I have to say, I like drawing winter clothing, because I can slack off a bit on the details and folds . Yeah Murrue probably wouldn't wear mittens like those, but I was too lazy to draw her fingers (it wouldn't look right...) ^^

I used a new colouring technique this time (an experiment I guess). I didn't ink the outlines this time, because I wanted a more sketchy look. And instead of using loads of saturated colour and lots of smudging, I used less opaque colours and darken/lighten brush to shade. I ended up liking how this one turned out (might make a tutorial on it if I get un-lazy).

Actually this is the first of 3 (possibly 4) of couples' wintery scenes I'm doing, featuring my fave couples from different series (yes, I am capable of drawing other couples too >.< ). The other ones will be R/R, K/K, and maybe A/A (do you see a pattern here? -- okay I sort of cheated since K/K are their last names, but still... )
