second part of eclipse. i really wanted to try and paint celestia with flaming hair so i did ^^ its really annoying that when i made this with my laptop the colors look a lot darker. so almost everything thats black was another color. so ill try to fix that cause it really makes it a lot less pretty. but for the most part im happy with how this came out :33 Β

Vision: This was executed excellently. You were able to achieve a good mood, give Celestia a fiery mane and tail, and I can quickly tell this is the other half of your eclipse painting with Luna (without reading the description e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
Originality: We've seen Celestia and the eclipse before, along with Celestia with a flaming theme to her look. However, the background is not very commonly seen, the way you painted the fire (with the purples and pinks mixed in with the reds and yellows) is not a look I commonly see. Along with your style, it gives the piece quite a bit of originality.
Technique: You have a lovely style and you execute it well. using white to outline really helps the character pop. The fiery mane and tail look excellent, plus your proportions are spot on. The only things are 1) her expression, it's really hard to discern her emotions from her expression alone. And 2) her wings, while lovely, are a bit too detailed, it pulls a little too much attention away form the rest of the piece.
Impact: If Celestia's face were a bit more expressive, it would really help complete the mood. Likely giving it a stronger impact, but overall it's still a very strong pull and impact.
Overall excellent job ^^ You have a lovely style and excellent ideas.

ItΒ΄s awesome. I really like the colors, cause red, orange, yellow, and everything else that reminds me of fire, are absolutely my favorite. IΒ΄m not really a fan of Celestia but seeing her in this colorsβ¦ This picture totally blows my mind. IΒ΄m having a hard time finding the right words because English isnβt my mother tongue, but I hope that iΒ΄m capable to tell you that this artwork is simply awesome. IΒ΄m not sure if you can understand this, but let me say a few words in my mother tongue (German):

Most laptop monitors aren't IPS, so the colors will be a bit wonky. They look awesome here anyway.

aah thanks, the main problem is that i have two monitors and the image has totally different colors on both so its hard to decide whats more accurate
