Castilf was born in the Ice village 456 years before the coming of the Toa. While on an expedition one day with some explorers to map out the northern most portions of the island, an avalanche began, forcing them to flee. Unfortunatly Castilf ended up slipping off a cliff, and fell into a ravine. In the following weeks, the other explorors made multiple attempts to climb down the ravine and find Castilfs body, but none of the expeditions proved fruitful save for bits and pieces of equitment. On the one year anniversary of his Castilfs death, reports began to appear of a mysterious warrior hiking and climbing in an around the mountains that surrounded the ravine; some reports stated that the warrior was friendly, others claimed to have been attacked on site, and others said they heard the warrior speak, and swore it sounded like catilf. The most recent sighting occured a year before the Toa came, from the protector of Ice, Izotor.

Personnality: Prior to his accident Castilf was cherrful and fun-loving, he enjoyed telling jokes, and would rellish in the laughter of others. After the accident, Castilf became like the ice itself; Cold, harsh, unoredicatble, and unfrogiving.

Powers/Abilities: Castilf carries an Ice axe that he can also use as a climbing tool. He also wields an Ice bow that can freeze people on impact when shot with it. his feet have small spikes and claws on the bottom of them, so as to allow him to avoid slipping.
