Vultraz was created a short time after Spherus Magna's reformation as a Ta-Matoran. During the evacuation of the Mata-Nui robot, he was captured by the makuta Gorast and taken away. after years of torture and experiments, he was transformed into a Shadow Matoran; during this time, he would perform assassinations on the Makuta's behalf, and would kidnap Matoran and Agori to be used for experiments. After the Makuta Genocide, Vultraz was one of many Shadow-Matoran who were captured by the Order of Mata-Nui. Initially he was to be kept as a prisoner, but the Order saw potential in his skills as an assassin, and began attempts to turn him (and the other Shadow Matoran) back to normal. After month's of experiments, Vultraz was cured after he was exposed to the full power of a Kanohi Mask called the Avohkii. After this he was made a servant of the Order, and has been sent on assassination mission on the Orders Behalf. Recently though, he was accidentally sent into the melding reality, where (in exchange for a Toa of Shadow that had been sent with him) he was able to come back with a Light version of the Makuta who had initially lead the Makuta Rebellion; Icarax.

Personallity: Vultraz is generally laid back, and will try to find the quickest way to complete a mission. He is a skilled con-man, and can easily talk himself and others out of a situation, regardless of how deadly it is. however the Makutas experiments resulted in him developing post traumatic stress disorder; which manifests itself in a fear of loud noises.

Powers/Abilities: Vultras has innate fire powers, which come in the fomr of a natural resistance to heat. He wears a powerless kanohi Geier, the mask of scavenging. Vultraz carries a barbed sword, and a custom designed lightstone pistol. He also has a rocket board which he can summon via a small chip implanted in his head.
