Caligo was a makuta scientist who joined Icarax in the Makutas attempt to overthrow Mata-Nui. When the Makuta Genocide began, Caligo began killing or betraying any Makuta who attempted to either reveal his plans to Icarax, or attempted to directly intervine. This came to a climax towards the end of the Genocide, when Caligo killed Icarax, bringing on the collapse of what remaind of the Brotherhood of Makuta. After the Makuta Genocide (which dropped the number of makuta to less than 50), Caligo went out gathering as many Makuta, Shadow Toa, and people and creatures that hated Mata-Nui, The Order of Mata-Nui, and the Dark Hunters as possible and united them together under a new organization known as the Order of Icarax, with himself acting as leader. Despite that he was still a scientist who had a love for toying with creatures, and took part in the creation of the Hy-Matoran, the mutation of the Toa Xeltra, and the mutation og the Seltian gladiator Niteat. During a battle with a squad of Order operatives that he barely managed to win, Caligo Absorbed his pet Bladed Mountain Lion Phantom Claw into himelf, transforming his body into a stronger, more agile, and all around more threatening form.

Personality: Caligo has a complex mind, filled with many thoughts, ideas, and goals, and they all involve the conquest of Spherus Magna. He is extremly manipulative and an excellent deceiver, who can easily pull off virtually any ruse, guise, or disguise as long as it means he can convince someone to help him. He has a fascination with mutation, and relishes in performing hideous experiments on captives and prisoners. He also doesn't care what is required inorder for him to achieve his goals, and will willingly kill, torture, or betray anyone or anything as long as it means that he'll achieve his goals.

Powers/Abilities: Caligo possess's all forty-two known Rahkshi abilities. He can create, control, and absorb the element of shadow. Caligo possess' a shadow flame at the end of his tail, which he can use the either take control of, possess, or absorb and creature he shoots with it. He wears a kanohi Jultin, allowing him to break down any lifeless/inorganic material within his field of view.

(So ya, Caligo is actually one of my oldest mocs. I originally built him around the summer of 2013, with the idea that he was a general Grievous type character, but naturally over the years I developed his story, but never his design. So as such, I started changing him up last Sunday, and finally found the right piece to finish him tonight. So ya this is a rebuild that's been coming for a long time know, and I am honestly pleased with the results.)
