This is beautifully done.
I wonder about the Lao Tzu translation though. Does he mean life and death, or birth and death? The translation of these words between English and Chinese gets slightly tricky depending on context. I'm curious if he merely used the word sheng 生, or if he contextualized it. The same character is used in representing both birth and life.
For if it's contextualized to mean birth, then he's essentially saying that 'creation and destruction are two sides of the same coin' with more grounded overtones in accepting mortality, but if he's talking about all of one's life, as a line, then it would follow that death is a line as well, and he's referring to some kind of after-life.
Hrm..... I briefly looked for the original text of this and wasn't able to find it.
Regardless, you did a fantastic job with this, and I love just how panoramic it is.
