Description
Come with me~And you'll be~
In a woooorld, of pure imagination~
When you're there~
You'll be free~
If you truly wish~ To be~
Version 2 of this one: [link]
Changed the title because I couldn't get the damn song out of my head.
Why, I couldn't get my hands off it last night. I also love filling things with black, but after I did I thought of adding candy to it with the correction pen and went wild with it. I LOVE this so much. I wanna make it larger. And I wanna color it too. My teacher has Copic markers, the expensive artist ones so I'm gonna tell him to show me how I should. I will color a copy. I like this one too much and don't want to ruin it. And who knows, maybe sometimes I'll make it a big project and ampliation(Is that the word? It is in Spanish) it to paint it.

Gene did an awesome job as Wonka. Too bad they changed the movie too much compared to the book.

Meh, I like the movie better. In some cases, they screw up, such as The Hunt For Red October. But, when I read the book, it was nice, but I enjoyed the music and life of the movie.

This is so pretty! All the lines are perfect and the folds of their clothing makes me green with envy of your talent. You draw amazing hands, too. I can't wait to see a colored copy!

Thank you!~
And the folds actually gave me trouble and I wasn't all that satisfied with them...Guess I shouldn't be so hard on myself.

I love this one. I think the background is definitely suiting. And... I know what you mean! I love going into extensive detail! And here, it worked so nice. I dunno why, but I love Willy's expression, and Charlie's eyes.
I love Charlie's eyes.
Well, whether this is coloured or not, I really like it!

To color it it will be a copy because I'm so NOT touching the original. I like it way too much. :3

Ah. I do that a lot too. And that's a really good idea. And it'd be easy enough to make a copy since you already did the inking so well, so it won't be a real difference.
I'd probably do the very same thing. ^__^
I can't wait to see.

Thanks. The other song that's alternating with that one while looking at the pic is Candyman.
Who can take the sunrise~ Sprinkle it with dew~
and I don't even know the whole lyrics to it.

Who can take a sunrise, Sprinkle it in dew, Cover it in chocolate, and a miracle or two? The candyman, Willy Wonka can. :3 You have to love most of the songs from the original. Although the Oompa Loompa Songs did start to annoy me. D:

I change fandoms too but never really forget them or stop liking them. They just fade for a while as another takes their place but I will end up missing them after a bit want to get back to them eventually. And this one was very big to me. It really made a difference.
I dub them "Obsessions" there's temporary ones and there's the lasting ones which I have only 2. This and Sonic the Hedgehog. Every other I'd like only while the fad is about or until I've learned most from it and they stop making things about it.

Yeah well mine with CCF really made my life crappy because people were horribly mean to me about it. Yeah I still like the movie but nothing compares to my fave...Horatio Caine!! I have had to learn to change with the wind because people get bored very easily. I also stopped liking it because people started to make fun of Wonka...saying that he was a pedophile like Micheal Jackson and I was tired of hearing about it...The News people suck!!

Ah well. I never gave a heck what others had to say even less if it's something bad about something I do like. But I found fandom groups on LJ and other places online so I got lots of encouragement being with other fans like me and I'm still good friends with some of them. In fact, I've made most of my now friends thanks to that fandom. But I also found a lot I could relate with in CCF. I read the original book and own both the old and new films and I just love analyzing and understanding people and trying to figure out Willy as been a very interesting experience.
Also, and probably one of the biggest reasons. My art teacher is a fan, has been a fan since the very first movie came out back in 72 and he actually kinda reminds me of Wonka in many ways. He even dressed as him last year for Halloween. This year he was Jack Sparrow. So I like saying I have my own real-life Willy Wonka and now a Jack Sparrow too~ But Wonka suits him better. I seem them both as adults on the outside but held down children on the inside that is screaming to come out and does so every now and then.
I guess it all comes with the experiences each fandom causes on people.

If you want to be reminded of someone like Wonka watch the new Spongebob movie "Atlantis Squarepantis" The new character voiced by David Bowie reminds me of him in a wacky way. Yeah well I got in to CSI: Miami and decided to just quit with the Wonka stuff...but I still like it don't get me wrong. I have just found other ways to go to my "land of pure imagination" is all.

That white border around the drawing was kinda like a force field to make it be separate from the BG. Also because it kinda looked like a sticker. Like you could take it out and place it anywhere you wanted~

It's fun because it's fun of young people. Mostly is dancing since there's a different genre class each day and art is just Saturday. Mornings is Drawing(Pencil, inks, pastels, charcoals color pencils and everything that's not painting), then in the evening is Painting class. I like going there some afternoons during the week just to watch the others dancing or rehearsing since they make musicals and other activities. Right now they're rehearsing for a Xmas parade and there's a musical in January. There's been 2 so far. There' also talent shows and whatever other place they get invited to.
There's always chaos there anyway. Never a boring day just watching them because it's not all serious like a classroom. Is a place full of friends who teach things to each other and others and have fun while at it.
I love it there just for that~ Oh, and it's new. About 2 years open.
