With a weak hand, Elayne pointed at something behind Nynaeve.
"Watch out, behind you..."

Behind them, blocking the other end of the bridge, was a rider in full armor. Astonishingly, the rider was not mounted on a horse but rather on a lizard-like monster with three eyes.

"What in the light, they have monsters too?" Elayne let out, defeated.

"Mother's milk in a cup!" Nynaeve gasped. "They walked us straight into a trap."

"The water, Nynaeve, jump!"

"I..., I can't swim."

"We're surrounded; it is your only chance, jump!"
