So we left Milky and the orcs here: To the Death: Orc Trails

This is a bit of spin-off concerning the orcs and world-building work necessary to integrate them into the To the Death universe. For those of you that did not follow the different plots or got lost (understandably, given the state of affairs), here is the roundup, just to give the context for this picture: The setting is to be late roman empire, with gladiators as it’s protagonists. To avoid having to follow historical events too closely, instead of our world I chose Calradia from the Mount and Blade: Bannerlord game, but for the creation myth, I went with Tolkien and Middle Earth, exchanging the Palaic with Elves. Sounds like a spree of crazy cleptomania? It is, but more on that another time.

Anyway, let’s assume blatant similarities are just a multiverse glitch for now and let’s take a look. Or look here: To the Death: Orcs multiplying again...
Of course if there’s orcs, there are those that watch and worry.

“Elladan and Elrohir just told me.”

“You’re certain?”

“They’ve just returned.”

“Orcs are multiplying again. And more.”

“And the council?”

“Must not know. And I don’t trust Saruman.”

“He’s certainly behaving … unusual… lately. Got his own plans.”

“There’s no time to loose.”

“I’ve dreaded this moment, Gandalf.”

“Yet it might still turn into an opportunity.”
