First let me say sorry taking a long time to submit a critique to this picture you have done. Second I have never heard of Paolo before until now. I like the different shading colors that you have done on the outfit, hair, jewelry, skin, and the magic from her hands. I see nothing wrong with the picture you have done. Keep up the awesome job that you do with your art work. I hope to see more awesome art work from you in the near future. I thank you for asking me to critique this picture you have done.

Overall, I think you're on to a good start. I would like to see a little more color variation in the skin tones as it transitions into the shadows. I probably would have gone with a couple of different tones of blue in the water magic as the character is Aspen. I think you could play with the opacity of the colors on the sheer skirt. You have a nice start in defining the leg, however if a little more of the skin tone popped through it would really sell that it was sheer. I like that you went with a none traditional gradation in the background and added a few highlights of pink on the skin to shoe the reflected light. Keep up the good work and experiment. Sometimes it's the things we didn't think would work that end up making the art a very memorable piece. Look forward to seeing your work continue to expand, Marc. Truly this is a great start with a lot of promise.
