Tutorial time!

Here's a bit of a different upload for me and I hope this can help other artist's too. First off, I've been practicing eyes as of late and perhaps more specifically, trying to draw two eyes from a straight-on view.
I'll be ashamed to admit I've always drawn them by feeling (very intuitive person, I am) and sort of adjusted them in Photoshop after, however that never truly fixed the problems they had. So here's to me doing it right.
Not that long ago I saw a video by Mark Crilley (look him up on youtube, great artist!) that specifically tackled that problem. He provided the idea that in order to make it symmetrical (or, well at least as much as possible) is to draw the eyes in boxes of similar length/width and then you have several reference points where you could duplicate the eyes. It's such a simple trick! However, even with this idea, it's still darned difficult to get them 100% symmetrical, but then again even in reallife, no 2 eyes are exactly the same, and some small imperfections can add a bit of charm!
So here's my default set of eyes, zoomed in and more detailed than usual! You can see that I measured the distances, made sure there's a space in the middle the size of an eye and used the boxes to pinpoint and construct the eyes in it. It's actually a really simple thing but I hope this can help someone out there who has trouble with this exact thing!

Maybe next time I draw a symmetrical butt or something, wouldn't that be something?
