WHOMG
THANK YOU FOR SHARING THE SECRET OF SUPER GOD COLORING SKILLS
*bows down, falls over*
Quick question (two actually)
-Does this concept apply to other shiny things (like swords, mirrors, poles, etc.)
-Can colorpencils with soft lead be used in lieu of pastel chalk?
Once again, thak you so much! I'll try this out ASAP~

Basically it does not directly apply to those things, I use real images to look how reflections work and how they establish, but its also possible to use your mentioned shiny things as study objekt to apply shadows and highlights correspondingly.
I think with colorpencils you wouldnΒ΄t get that result as with chalk. You can try, but I donΒ΄t believe that its working well
The tutorial was a pleasure for me and when you are finished, show me your try
