Actually, the fact that Colossus has the ability to turn his entire body into iron while Juggernaut is still just flesh makes him a strong contender. So yea I would say he has a chance, in fact Id say he has a very good chance to take him on and possibly even win.

Juggernaught has far more defenses and is far stronger than Colosus.
They are mystical in nature. Born of a curse from the crimson bands of Cyterak.
In an old X man issue, wolverine and colosus hit a bar and found Juggy there in plain cloths drinking with some hookers. colosus lips off Juggy and they go at it while wolvie sits back and watches drinking a beer.
Colosus held his own for a little but in the end Juggy mopped the floor with him.
By the way, colosus doesnt turn to iron. Its called organic steel.
