Wow, I love the feeling in it. The ay she grabs the cliff with her toes makes it complete. It is like she is going to push herself away from it any minute yet is a bin nervous and grabs the cliff for support.

I think it's a terrible idea to be shoe less. Coming in for a landing will leave you with bloody stumps. Then she'll need a personal flight system to handle stairways.

The thrust of a jet engine is caused by gas pressure. Inside the engine the gas is very hot (about 850ΒΊ), but at the exhaust, gas is surrounded by water vapor, which makes the contrail you can see, and it cools the gas extremely fast as it leaves the exhaust nozzle. So fast that in some jet engines the nozzle feels cool to the touch.

It riles up the imagination and her hesitation comes off as really natural, well, as natural as having an upper boddy fightertcraft on your back, can get.
