Looks like an Imperial Knight mech from 40K. Would make sense given that Imperial knights are located on otherwise feudal worlds.

Goddamn, this is awesome, man. There are so many things I like about this, particularly the stark contrast between the barren landscape and modest peasants against the mech and distant monolith. Plus the sunlight and birds in the distance evoke such a strong sense of hope and optimism. Truly gorge!
