Hahahaha, really? That's awesome :'') I usually have the opposite problem...making the OCs and having to figure out a stand for them. JoJo OCs sure are an interesting process!

What I do is basically take everything about a song's lyrics literally and try and get a mental image from those. It's a pretty hit or miss method, you'll prolly have to revise the design a few times. :'0
Low key, I based Ren on Trent Reznor, so I think I'm just gonna stick with the idea of doing suspiciously similar characters based on a band member of the stand's name.
