Description
I'm not sure if the title is correct, but judging from the similarities, I'd say it is.
I'm quite surprise I couldn't find anything about it on the internet.
I don't think the label was JP, but I'm pretty sure the box was a combinations of warm colors
(red yellow orange), so I think it was the jungle silhouette with the sunset on the background.
And I fondly remembered very disappointed with the roar. It wasn't what was in the movie.
It sounded really high pitched or light for an animal its size (very much like the original Red Rex).
Plus you have to squeeze the flank really hard, since it is made of plastic. Don't remember about the stomping sound.
Don't know how to change the battery though, there's no battery compartment on the bottom.
But I'm sure you have to remove one of the legs or the tail to do so (yes it's possible,
cause it did happen due to bad storing).
Nothing special about the paint job (although they did a decent job on the face). No JP tag obviously.
And because the feet are black, my brother said the T. Rex is wearing a pair of boot.
They really nailed the sculpt, down to the skin texture. They even got the "MADE IN CHINA" and
"ALL NEW MATERIALS POLYESTER" correctly. The hand are different though, but still good.
Slightly smaller than its original counterpart. In scale pretty good with the Kenner's toys.
But this Rex suffered from small feet, so it could not stand without using its tail as a support.
Thus giving it the appearance of modern Rex while
standing like the classic theropod posture.
Bought this at a local toys store when I was 5 (I think). Then got the original around 13 or 14
and was amazed on how accurate and detailed this bootleg is.
Looking it back now, I'm glad I bought it and didn't throw/give it away.
The shocking part, it's a better quality than most, if not all, of the Jurassic World (or even JP 3) toys.
Especially for a bootleg toy. Don't know what company or who made it. It wasn't a realistic dino-skin,
but more like the plastic/rubber/polyester materials for The Lost Wolrd's Stegos, giant Pachys, and Carnotaurus.
The head, arms, legs, and tail rotate 360. It has its electronic sound holes on its side.
But no screw holes.
And I think that's pretty much it. Sorry for the bad composition and lighting. Photography has never been my thing.
Thank you for checking. Let me know what you think or if you want more pictures.
Feel free to share or use it.

It's pretty cool. I think it looks short because it's not fully stretch.

If you can ignore the blunt teeth, it's actually not a bad figure.
