Description background practice + soma

I'm really happy with this, and I think pushing myself and trying new things has really improved my art?? like if you look at my gallery, the first half actually looks nicer and has a variety of things, and the second half is just fullbodies with no background
critique me pls

Oh wow beautiful work on the scenery here! You did a great job of making that soft sunset effect, with the light fading into the foreground. This image is just kinda radiating peacefulness

Overall i think that this is gorgeous and better than anything i could do, but you asked to critique so i'll give some suggestions?? (you don't have to care or anything lol, just some constructive criticism?)

I really like how the light falls across the cliffs, it gives a sort of hopeful feeling to it. I feel like there could be more highlighting (as in are rimmed in light) on the edge of some of the rocks. You could add darker shadows so that there's a little more contrast between dark and light as well. I like how you made some of the leaves on the plants brighter, they're an example of really good shading/lighting imo. The last thing I really have to say about this is that you could blur (if you can, i know not all programs have the ability to easily blur) the mountains in the background a little more. However, this is all just a suggestion and I think that it's plenty good all by itself. I get that it's sketchy and i don't expect, like, a heck of a lot of detail lol (you already did a good job on details).

yea so that's my critique i guess xD
