This is a fantastic precusor to the blue whale. A kind of combination of behemoth and leviathan.

Heya Marcus, I just thought I'd give you a bit of feedback on the admin deliberation for the winner of the contest. We initially were going to do an admin vote from the top 3 entries, but we ended up going for community vote. I voted for you to win because I think you really came out on top in terms of originality in rendering and design, and you also created a bit of character and quirkiness and fun that was refreshing. You've got some mad skills bro, for only being 20...I hate you.
Better luck next time and I look forward to seeing more stuff come through from ya!

Wow, how nice! I love how flat its head is! Makes it look adorably dumb. The strokes/textures are perfect.

Otroligt fin stΓ€mning och textur till landskapet! Allting ser ut att vara gjort av lavar. Jag Γ€lskar mΓ₯sen pΓ₯ toppen och att huvudet Γ€r sΓ₯ platt

It's an awesome concept, but the background is too similar in shape to the creature's profile, while the foreground is dramatic and angled. I think continuing the dramatic angles (and colours) of the foreground into the background would emphasize the design of the creature.

thanx!
yeh but I based this painting on the fact that the further away an object is, in this case the cliffs, the more they blend in to the bakground colourscheme and becomes more neutral.

I get that rule, doesn't change the shape.
