Overall a beautiful piece! I love how textured everything looks and how clear everything is. However, the horizon is a bit tilted, which bothers me. Also, the fields in the far left distract me away from the main idea, which are the rocky cliffs and the sun. The sun seems to be off centered, a bit too the left. Though, as mentioned, the rocks have beautiful texter and the shadows are stunning to me. It makes me feel like I am standing on the rocks myself, with the cliff faces at my left and right. Keep this wonderful work coming!

This is a photo I like enough to pause and admire, but not enough to favorite. The comment section states this is a sunset picture and the title of the piece is "Catching Light", but I'm not getting enough of either to score this photo higher than 3 on vision. If it's about a sunset, why's the sun still so high in the sky? (Note, the sky is still blue/gold with no apparent traces of reddish tones.) 'Catching' light suggests the idea that the photographer is straining to photograph that last sliver across the sky, but this photo looks flooded with light. (Note, ISO is 200.) While the idea of capturing sunset on a cliff is popular, for me, the location chosen and the way the clouds are used to give character to the top third of the photo are original enough to merit a 3.5. I like the technique used to take the photo, but where it falls apart is the editing. The horizon line is obviously tilted, creating a needless distraction. I'm also puzzled by the foreground of the photo: I'm guessing it's supposed to counterbalance the brightness of the sky? Unfortunately, it's such big area of brightness that's it's not counterbalancing, it's competing and winning against the dot of the sun. The photo is so well textured though-- I want to reach out and touch the rock. For making me feel like I'm right there, standing on that foreground and squinting into the distance, this photo deserves full marks for impact.
