Olga:"I had no idea she was going through all that!"
Dr : "She'll be fine!
She's made of tough stuff!
So don't hover over her so much, ok?"

I know why Olga is crying yet again. She read my scathing self-exploratory essay about the largely unsavory experiences I had with the anime genre and its fans, and she can't stomach the fact that I would conclude it with an extremely negative remark about such people.

Did they EVER show Dr. Bliss again? I absolutely loved that woman!

No, such a pity, indeed!
She appeared just once in that episode, though there as a brief cameo of her in the movie( though she just appear in the background )

Heheh^^
By the way, do you remember that ThanksGiging episode, when the Patakis( Big Bob, Myrima and Olga )thought Helga was lost?
I remember how Big Bob overracted and dressed himself up as he should go to a war expedition or something...
Well, if Helga demonstrates her feelings very intensely( and that was said by Dr. Bliss herself, in another episode, "Helga on the couch", if you also remember ), so does Olga, too( well, overdramatically indeed, but we know Olga )... so I guess from which parent they inherited that "drama" trait!
( Besides, Big Bob got addicted to soap operas, in another episode - that one when he hurts his back so he needs to stay at home while Myriam runs the Beeper Emporium )
It´s a drama-addicted family! XD

Thanks!
However,
Helga is still more akin to Bib Bob, though on concerning other issues - by the other hand, always seemed to me that Olga was more akin to Myriam... I think she mentioned that she was an Olympic class swimmer at high school, in "Olga gets engaged" episode and as far we can presume from "Beeper Queen" episode, she´s also very achieving( and, actually, she put the Beeper Emporioum on the reels during the brief time she ran the business - it´s just to remember that she found the place a mess when she first came there )
( at least, Myriam has some promising future before she became the... absented mind person she became after )

Yeah, I've always kinda though that Miriam and Olga were more alike, too. I mean, Olga would probably turn into the mess her mother did If she wound up marrying a jerk like Bob. It's almost as if we're seeing a bit of what Miriam was like through Olga... with the exception of her obsessive habit of perfection, that she probably gained from some sort of ability to fix her home situation as a little girl. That's why I kinda feel bad for Olga.

Well,
Maybe the obsession for perfection, thus "Success" - because a B+ ( " - and a B.... plusss?" just like she said and the further reaction as a VERY too much ) may came mostly from Bob´s pressure - in fact, he more than once tried to push it up Helga, too...
It would be natural that olga´s natural talents earned her some early recognition, as much her mild nature gained synpathy - however, as much it made her look "successful" and "popular" since she was young, maybe Bob( and Myriam ) just encouraged it - and on seeing her parents approve it, it grew into an obsession - so, it´s quitle like she thought that, if she weren´t "perfect", they could love her less...
Of course, it also generated a situation where Olga became an "emotional vortex" for so to speak; thus becoming a center of attention, and that´s too bad that Helga got quite "swept under the rug" after that; however, I still believe that, among the Patakis, Olga certainly would be the most likely one to stand for her sister´s true value and self, if that was given a proper oportunity - still, though, would be necessary to overrun the picture above of Olga being the "perfect" one; Bob and Myrima just would, still become somehoa aware of Helga is Helga, as much Olga is Olga, but both of them are their daughters, and respect that difference on what concerns Helga being Helga herself...

Olga seemed to need therapy every bit as much as her misanthropic sister.

Maybe...
she was portrayed so "evil"( like she knew of Bob and Myriam´s uncaring, but toke advantage of that over Helga )in that "Helga on the couch episode, though"

You know, if you start at the bottom and work up, you could assume that Bliss was trying to get Olga to pull herself together, then eventually comforted her when she calmed down.
As always, great work! I'd like to see your stuff animated.

Hahaha... yeah; in one of my fics, I add a blooper scene where she makes a minor mistake in a dialogue (she changes a couple of letters in a word) and she starts crying so badly the whole cast has to comfort her.

REASONS WHY OLGA MAY BE CRYING:
A bank opened.
She dropped her keys.
She thought she heard someone say something that might have been rude that could have possible been directed at her (they actually said "My grandfather lives in a yurt.").
The terrible events happening in Darfur.
The terrible events happening in her freezer (it need's defrosting).
Andy Gibb's death; the fact that it happened in 1988 notwithstanding.
She got something in her eye and tried to bathe it in kindness.
Sugar-free Jello.
The economic crisis, specifically how harsh it has been on Dustin Diamond (TV's "Screech").
She punched a man directly in his Adam's apple in a fit of rage and watched him choke to death on his own crushed trachea.
Don Knotts. No further reason stated.
