Sure there was ducktales and the rescue rangers back in the day, but my favorite cartoon show was Darkwing Duck! He was totally awesome. I picked up the dvd set they recently released and it's still good stuff to this day. Brilliant writing and fun characters. I liked how the background came out. At first, I was just gonna color him in, but then I was like "This is Darkwing Duck, man! I gotta go all out!" So I just started brushing away on those clouds and they just kinda came out. I like it...Tools

Yeah, I think DW coincided with my peak Disney Afternoon obsessing days as well. ;D I like how he was a strange (yet entertaining) mix between competent crime-fighter and self-absorbed dunderhead. You almost never see Western cartoons written like that anymore, I don't think.
