Description
Yet more tinkering with my tank (need to figure out how to stick the other versions in scraps....You'll notice the lack of treads, this is because it rests on projected pillars of theoretical matter. Teemat systems are extremely energy intensive however they provide a singularly unique mode of transport, being able to accelerate quite rapidly in any direction and offering unsurpassed traction (the teemat pillars are projected an inch or two into the ground). Adventurous pilots have even been known to scale buildings. Teemat equipped vehicles are generally used for city deployments where their extreme mobility and exceptional parallel parking capabilities serve them well.
The basic thought is that if you can project a solid the basic laws of motion still apply. Meaning if you project columns into the ground and attempt to move them, You are going to move. Just because its a force field or whatever is no reason to ignore physics. Ie: it projects a column at the front of the tread-pad thingy and moves it to the back of the tread-pad thingy. Think traditional tank treads only they can't be blown up, and can move in any direction.
Changes: dropped the forward sponsons and the cow catchers in front, made an armored cab, added a few sets of capped and turreted smoke tubes, and stuck a nice long-range railgun up top for anti-air.

Some parts reaaaaaaaaaaaly feel W40k-ish ^^ plasma weapon, fumigens, side turrets etc etc
But I love it ^^ It looks...powerfull. I mean, It really doesn't fragile, and I wouldn't want to be in its line of fire !
Great job
Can't wait to see it textured.
By the way : what software did you use ?

My only question for this stellar model is where can I get myself a working, life size replica of this machine? <<
Barring that it's an awesome design, and a beautiful render.

Cool tank! Looks very dangerous!
By the way, you can move stuff to scraps by setting the Deviation category to "no category".

Nice looking tank. So its arments are:
Plasma Blast Gun
Twin-Linked AA Rail Gun on top (lascannon maybe 40k terms)
Hull Mounted Cannon (battlecannon?)
2 Gun Sponsons (looks like either an autocannon or maybe a lascannon)
and 4 Twin Linked Heavy Bolter Sponsons
Oh, and some smoke launchers, lots and lost of smoke launchers.

Actually, i can only see the Plasmacannon and the stubby bolter turrets that have any similarity to a warhammer 40k tank. This looks like GW fired their design team for space marines and hired someone with talent ...

heh, thanks, but I thought it best to mention up-front where I was getting some of the shapes from.

Amazing. Great detail. I'm not familiar with its design. Your own design?

yup, I ripped a few elements off some of the Warhammer 40K stuff, but mostly my own design.
