Kate, the talented latex clothing & accessories designer of Jane Doe Latex (also an artist and occasional model), snapped at the Skin Two Expo 2006.UPDATED: I've had a few goes at correcting the colour cast, very difficult because of bad exposure to start with, and lighting of two different colour temperatures, but it's much better than it was.

Hi, great shot ! any chance i could use this image for a new tattoo/piercing/body art site i'm helping develop at [link] ? the site's still young, but it's picking up speed, and we're developing alt model and alt model photographers sections, although they'll take a while as it's a ton of coding to get them to work well...

This image had such a horrible colour cast that I almost didn't bother trying to correct it or upload it, but I'm glad I did... although I still don't understand why it's the most popular image of my entire gallery! lol
Anyway, I've had one more go at tweaking it... she's a little paler than she was...

Did you 'fill-in' with a light or flash, under flouresents or halogens? That's what it looks like. I guess the 2 types of light didn't 'jive'?
It's your 'most popular' image because she's superfuckinghot.
The same with my gallery: the most popular are 'T&A' shots. Hardly anybody cares much about the real 'art' type shots........I think DA is Dirty Animals.
Anyway; your work is great. Hope to see many more.

I used my flash for fill-in, the wall was an off-white, there was fluorescent strip lighting nearby from a show stall/unit, and I have a feeling there were some other lights high up on the ceiling... so no, they didn't play too well together!

I haven't tried to make a living from it, or any money at all in fact, but I suspect I'd need to be a pretty successful photographer to match my current income, so I'm happy keeping my photography a pleasure I can indulge, not a job I have to do... Good luck with your job hunting, btw!

hmmmm, to make a living from it i think i'd have to shoot things i do not want to. so then it becomes a bore, and i want it to be the fun and creative thing it currently is.
my long term goal is to set up my own studio and use that to make money
i've put the job hunting on hold atm, as i have more paid work coming in than i thought, it's just not reliable some weeks!
