Description
there is a certain equivalence between our tried and true methods of reason. science is relevant to time and numbers, which in turn is relevant to the passing of (time) and memories, which is in then related to reason of the mind, and from there reason through religion, and finally, (a woman's) intuition. no matter our method of finding truth, it is the fact that we seek truth that matters most.... i think people are starting to believe i have little faith in mankind after many of my recent pictures ...since they hilight the human tendency to err .... but this is perhaps more positive? and yes the triangle, for me, represents our reliance on science, nature, as well as time and planar existence. the triangle, when used in a structure such as a bridge, is strongest shape when put under pressure.
hmm. yes.
so... have been doing some odd things lately. more to come. perhaps i will even update the damned webpage of mine. whats funny is i have been spending this week helping to jumpstart my boyfriends modeling career (or what I think it could be).... so if you live in chicago or ny, since those are the only cities he is present in enough to work in, and need a male model...or know someone who does... etc etc, note me. then i will link you to his onemodelplace site and blah blah blah. seems like an odd thing to place in my entry here, yeah, but its 2am and it came to mind - we all need money to pay for lawschool somehow....well, at least him. and boy does he have a good face. hahaha.
hmm. csi makes me think. hard.

Great composition, intriguing and/therefore fascinating concept. I particularly like the way light and shadow play throughout the scenery and model. The light/shadow set in her hands caught my interest.

I know that this photo means much more to you than it does to me. I can tell from reading the discription that you put a lot of symbolism into it. But I LOVE this picture. I'm not sure why... If it's the colours, or the casual pose, or what it is, but it attracts me. I love the hand holding the picture. It's kind of random at first, but on second glance it looks to me like the hand is removing the picture from the wall, which actually is symbolic to me, because she looks like the virgin mary and this makes me think about removing the catechisms (sp?) from religion and going back to pure love. The model is gorgeous, and I love how her hands blur out of focus in front of her.
ok enough babbling.
beautiful.

Seeing that critique is discouraged by the artist, I love the hand holding the oval photo. Just great use of a human hand (and wrist) in a photo.
You got me thinking about the triangle. I was always more in awe of the arch bridges myself. Don't get me wrong, I do indeed love the triangle and most of what it represents as well as the shape itself.

I love the symbolism in this... the lighting and model are beautiful of course, but what really makes this piece wonderful is not just its beauty, but the fact that you have to think about it. And yes, I do believe this is a positive piece. Wonderful work... please keep it up!

Wow, she is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen! But the shadows on the wall kinda bug me, not a whole lot just a little. I really like the concept and how you put it together though! Well done.

Well, after a second look it's not the shadows themselves that really bug me but the small triangle of light left on the right hand side... but that's me being picky. Of course I think the girl is pretty, don't you?

i actually started allowing shadows to occur on purpose lately.... i h ave reasons for shadows. its a long story. but then again, this is a wall right next to a window... so shadows were inevitable. but windows create lovely light!
and you think kelly is pretty? aww. i shall tell her you said that.
