Based on FireCrackerWolf's Secret of NIMH fanfic, "Christopher and the Rats of NIMH," this fanart was inspired by a much older picture that I made & posted about two years ago (Christopher meets Mrs. Brisby by mardabas on DeviantArt ).This is the first meeting between Christopher 'Chris' Fitzgibbons and Mrs. Brisby, taking place during chapters two and three of the story. Since the encounter happens almost immediately following the shrinking of Chris by the mysterious blue stone, he is, naturally, freaking out big time...
