All those fins look amazing!! Β With all that finnage, I'd think you'd show her with some awesome-looking webbed hands, too!!

Absolutely amazing! Have you done the study of an elf? It would be great inspiration for a book I'm writing....

You are doing a journal series of mermaids? What a coincidence!

Thank you!
I was really trying to take something from nature that wasn't the standard dolphin tail that most mermaids are drawn with.
So glad you liked it.

To put icon's in you type : devusername : (without the spaces) and that will look like this ----> ~silentlysinging Or for the photo just switch 'dev' out with 'icon' that'll end up looking like this --> I hope i helped...Though i'm not sure thats what you were needing x)

lt seems these Kanakys was sacrificin' heaps o' their young men an' maidens to some kind o' god-things that lived under the sea, an' gittin' all kinds o' favour in return. They met the things on the little islet with the queer ruins, an' it seems them awful picters o' frog-fish monsters was supposed to be picters o' these things. Mebbe they was the kind o' critters as got all the mermaid stories an' sech started.

To put an icon in a post use :icon 'username': (no spaces, no quotes. so it's all one word, iconusername) you'll get I'm not sure if you need to specify caps or not in a name, though.
As for your work, I'm loving this series. I haven't commented on it until now but I've really enjoyed it. Do you have more planned?

Actually there is a whole list that I'm working my way down. My husband's coworkers have made requests - which is where the mermaid came from. I have yet to draw centaurs, zombies, full dragons and so forth all waiting to be drawn. I think there's a list of about 10 things. If you have a request, I'll add it to the list.
OK, let's see if I can do this right - this is a test!

this must be way too long gone... but my favorite mythological creatures are Manticores... and the majority of my wishlist for this christmas is art from Deviantart... I would LOVE to have that for someone to buy for me. Haha.

Vampire? Hmmm, hadn't quite thought of that in this context before but I think it shouldn't be a problem. It may not be the typical vampire of lore though. It'll be MY kind of vampire!
