"Where are you planning to go? There isn't any escape."

Gin raised his gun in the dim lighting of the roof and Conan felt the sparse mesh fence in his back like a sign "no further".

"No escape, uh? What If I had given up every time someone tells me to do so?"

He jumped. There was enough time to see Gin's nearly surprised face before the building started to grow taller and taller. The wind came stronger as well and suddenly the boy realized nights were already colder. Beneath him the city, which had looked so solid and continuous on the roof, started to break up for a different kind of cracks and islands.

I feel like I'm spoiling my own story T_T. I drew this in July when I was writing the fifth chapter for my fanfic (which is still in Finnish only >_>) and decided that I'll submit this when I finish the chapter. But then the Shrunken Prince happened and I don't know when I can write SAA anymore...
