Description
This log is about 4" long and made of felted wool, covered with wool moss, lichens, and fungi.It was sold at the Cider Days festival in Belmont, VT this year, but I hope to make many more in the future.

Fortunately my cats aren't too destructive with the felt stuff because they are only interested in feathers and string, but some of my felt stuff has been ripped up by a previous roommate's kitten, and one by a client's dog (it had to come back to the wool hospital...). It's definitely not quite pet-proof, that's for sure!

I like all the felted pieces you've been uploading lately, but I just especially like this one. The colors are so pleasing. It's got so much character. I love all the textures of the fungus.

Thanks. :3 Fungus/moss/lichen textures are endlessly interesting to me, so it was only a matter of time...
Of course, now I want to make more, bigger, forever. ^^
