Description This is Quicksand for the last in my elf portrait meme.

As the golden light of dawn pours into Quicksand’s den she smiles, a wide and welcoming smile. Though she is a Wolfrider by blood she doesn’t fear the light, for she knows well that some herbs only offer their secrets to the day.

.... I just fell in love with my own character XD She is amazing! Her eyes and smile caught my attention first (so pretty and sparkly!), and then her hair! You did a wonderful job designing her; I know it can be hard if you have nothing to go from. The golden leaflets are definitely items I am going to keep, and I love the different colors of embroidery on her shirt. And oh! THose rosy cheeks! The detail in her hairnet! And your little description!

LOL, now I want a picture of her and her older siblings together -- she's going to outshine them by FAR. Thank you SO much!!

I'm so happy you like her.

It was hard with nothing to go on but a lot of fun at the same time. And all that hair, I wanted to think of something different to do with it and although it went through a few changes I liked the net the best.

I really enjoyed the meme, and I hope to do another one very soon, so keep me in mind for those siblings.

That design is great! And I like the play of light and shadow here O_O The atmosphere ... fits her name if that makes any sense!

I LOVE that smile and how expressive the eyes are! That elf turned out WONDERFUL! I love everything about her... I am just rambling but I can't telly ou how impressive this came out!

When I first started drawing/painting I only used watercolour, so I have tried to kind of capture that painty feel in my Photoshop colouring.

I do.

I used to just use the mouse and then one of my friends gave me her old tablet and it opened up a whole new world. I can just draw in Photoshop now which is awesome.
