Description
OKAY this is my finished second sculpture for my 3D Design class at SCAD.It's made out of Super Sculpey and painted with Gallery acrylic paints. Then I coated it with Studio by Sculpey, which is a glossy glaze.
I mounted each piece on a 8in square mirror .
I LOVE SQUIDDDDSSSSS <3

Ohmygod I love this. I was totally going to do a wood sculpture like this but then I remembered I don't hate myself because wood is such a birch. Har har har.

Wow!!!! I love how you put this togeather on a meror to make it look like water and it ads even more class to have the tenticals rizing out of it to give it a pricless and captivating look!! This is the kind of art that gets sold fast and high becouse its so well done in a great pose and just so captavating! I sculpt too and have done an octopus aswell and I just think this peice is SO COOL! Way to go! Awsome work, ....this just made my day.... O_o

That looks really cool. I like how you mounted it on a mirror. It makes the arms (are they called arms?) even more tangled and crazy looking.

We have to make a character out of sculpey, using the whole armature deal. Did your class do armatures for support?

If my style even shows up in this thing! It still looks like a blocky chipped wood thing with 8 legs. THE MOMENT OF TRUTH IS TONIGHT... Which will be spent in the 3D studio for several hours. That is when the true squid shall emerge (I hope)
AND YES I can't wait to see you tooo! Make sure you come by my table at A-kon and hang with me and Kate! IZ GUNNA BE A PARTAY.
