I was pretty bored so I decided to play around with some of the stuff I already have, so this is what I came up with ^^. Personally I think it adds strength to the message I want to get across with this picture, what's your opinion?

This one was also taken during my week at the newspaper.
Winter is approximating, and the houses inevitably flood. The children in this picture were shoveling dirt along the edges of the house in order to create a sort of barricade against the relentless water. When they saw me getting near, they instantly dropped their shovels and posed for the picture. It was heartwarming to see their hard-worked faces soften into a smile for the camera. This just goes to show us that hope and happiness is the last thing that is lost. Even in the face of adversity, you have to keep smiling at life.
