Marii is a small bird girl who was meant to be raised in an orphanage with other abandoned eggs, but her dad screwed up the address and she got raised by a family of Chinese-styled warrior tigers who immediately moved to another country. They were completely fine with raising a bird, but she had to be as strong as all the tigers in her age group out of tradition. Her mother compensated her lack of raw strength with extra fighting styles based around speed and using outside weapons. Her upbringing also included consistent lessons in Chinese cooking, language in both Chinese and English for the new country, learning to have the spirits fight with her rather than against her, maintaining bodily balance, and even a bit of farming. This caused her to enjoy doing most of these things, even periodically yelling into the air about how the spirits were being extremely rude.

The sword she uses is a special chemical blend that hardened in a mold. Her friend, Jars, has named it Furui.

Her Tyrolite broach, like Jade, has beliefs of representing Benevolence, Honesty, Wisdom, Integrity, and Bravery. It's made for each member of the family, but she had to earn hers by beating at least one real family member in a fair fight. When making decisions, she tends to rub in in her hands.

Her favorite things to do is run around her extensive backyard looking for secrets and playing the two first Zelda games.

Her least favorite things to do are try and please the most hard-headed spirits. This includes her grandpa (Still alive, very stingy).
