Description
This isn't a very big or important contest; it's really simple and requires very little. All you have to do is redesign one of the seven choices above. They will be judged for creativity and good design. These don't have to be very overdone, HD images, but it would be preferable to have them colored in for obvious reasons.

Prizes:

My favorite redesign will get a month of Core Membership and a fully realized devitation of their choice. (No mature content.)

All good entries will have the character of their choice put in a large deviation. (All characters in one image.)

All entries will get a llama badge. (I really don't know why, but I thought it would be funny.)

Rules:

It goes without saying, but no "Mature Content" posts will be considered.

Please mention my deviant name and link this post to your entry. It'll be easier for me to find and hopefully interest others to join.

Drawings of the characters with no changes whatsoever will also not be considered.

Guidelines (For better chances of winning):

While these designs (as is) are to be used in a Zelda-like game, the year in which they are representative can be anywhere from medieval times to about 1990. Future designs are nice, but generally won't even be considered.

They can't have a large amount of detail. All these designs are to be animated later on. That doesn't mean make every character ridiculously simple, just around the same detail as the animation here: (insert Spin Attack)

Try and go all out. These really shouldn't be exactly like the ones shown above, this isn't a contest of "Who can draw this guy the best." This isn't a skill fight. It's a battle of creativity.

You might default to the characters, but try out the sword and the image of the scene. I'll be impressed that you even attempted it over the obvious choice.

The choices were:

1 - A skeleton warrior. He really doesn't require any special description.

2 - A skeleton waiter. A little fancier than a warrior.

3 - This design was originally going to be a bad guy, but I rejected him because he's just too complicated to animate. Basically a rip-off of skull kid and Majora's Mask.

4 - "Temple of lost time" You MIGHT remember this. I really liked this one, but I chose something else. Dare to change my mind? Attempting this is a lot more likely to win, but not guaranteed.

5 - A peanut butter and jelly girl with her friend: bread. Before I knew what "Shygals" were created for, I loved this design. Now that I do, she needs a bit of a change.

6 - A soul monster. I thought of it and sketched it, but could never get it quite right.

7 - Marii's Sword: "Furui" I always wanted to see somebody try their hand at messing with the design of this. It's not a character, but it is part of one's design.
