I wanted to talk about every trade a bit. Especially since I've had the time to think about them.

1 - My introduction to trades. At first, I wan't a fan of it. However, I like it now because it's closer to how Velvet is now than how it was back then.

2 - The addiction begins. This image single-handedly made me want to see Marii drawn by as many artists as humanly possible to get her design as perfect as birbily possible.

3 - This one was a bit of a secret for a while. I waited a year for the result, but I think it was worth it. It's exactly was I would've wanted. I still use the 1930's Velvet design.

4 - Very cute. Very smol. Head-pat the birdy.

5 & 6 - My introduction to my favorite Russian person ever. She has one of the best styles I've ever seen.

7 - Sometimes I wonder if Marii would make a good child of Link and Medli. It's not canon, but it's fun to imagine.

8 - Hammer time.

9 - I didn't think about it until drawing this image, but I think this is a great redesign for Jars.

10- I got to redesign this character for the trade! I liked getting the opportunity.

11 - I liked this one so much that i made the sketch my profile pic for a while. Good trade.

12 - This is around the time that I realized Marii and Jars couldn't be in every trade. This is a great example of branching out.

13 - I had a lot of fun drawing Zombie, but even though her end of the trade was really good, I realized that Velvet wasn't a very complex character. I layed off her for a while.

14 - Jins didn't have a very unique design here. The trade was good, but I used a character I barely had figured out. The psycho was fun to draw tho.

15 - Dione isn't a character I use very much. She's very underground. That may be due to the fact that I wanted to redesign her for a long time but could never get it right.

16 - DOGGOS. Also she drew a very cute Marii.

17 - Do what you want cause a pirate is free!

18 - Marii deserves that hug.

19 - beans.

20 - This Zelda artist is actually responsible for Dione in a weird way.

21 - JAZZ HAS BEEN DESIGNED. Jazz wouldn't even exist as she is if she wasn't drawn that day. I would've forgotten her. Send your sassy thanks.

22 - This trade didn't really go as expected. They drew really well, but it's not one I reflect on very much.

23 - OBJECTION! This artist is responsible for Blend Brewing, a lesser character I have. The head shape seems to be a part of their style, but because Blend is a square, it makes sense if her design reflected that.

24 - They didn't like their drawing. I did. Don't be so hard on yourself.

25 - I SCREAM YOU SCREAM WE ALL SCREAM FOR CUTE BIRBIES

26 - This was drawn BEFORE Jazz's redesign. Happy to say that the design has changed.

27 - Never got posted, but two VERY cool images were drawn of Marii and Jars fighting. Didn't do much for their design, but ideas spawned from the enemies.

28 - I liked the drawing, but I think the only time I ever get "disappointed" is when somebody draws way worse than the rest of their gallery.

29 - I LOVE THIS DRAWING but this is one of the examples of people who deactivated their accounts for some reason.

30 - They aren't finished yet, but I have the lineart, so I counted it.

31 - I'm tempted to pretend like their characters are cannon in my universe. Just for kicks, yah know?

32 - What happens when you ask someone to draw two characters that have nothing to do with eachother? Something pretty great, actually.

33 - Couch bois. And girl.

34 - Agent 9 from Splatoon 2 is very cute, but she draw Jars cuter.

35 - Ant. I usually send honeypot ants to artists when I don't know which character should be drawn. You'd think Marii would be the default, but even she benefits from more specific styles.

36 - Very cute B

37 - This one drawing took forever. But is was worth seeing Marii get Jazz annoyed.

38 - Please don't smash the pedestal.

39 - This is actually the trade that caused me to create Jazz's mother, Orlean Honeydew.

40 - Jazz really works in that style.

41 - I wanted to trade with them for a long time. Bird artists are hard to find.

42 - The answer to life, the universe, and everything. Anett just draw everything really well.

43 - Boo. Bee.

44 - TO THE STARS!

45 - I tried to go all out with this trade, and I could tell she did too.

46 - The Crab was essentially a replacement for ants when it came to me not being able to tell what character someone should draw. She did pretty well.

47 - Marii's big bear friend. She really encapsulated the style of Jazz's space design.

48 - Sk8bord doggo

49 - This is the trade that revived Velvet. She now perfectly reflected the south, her face now having more iconic curved, big cheeks, a nice button nose, and big front teeth. However, not in a way that makes her unnatural or ugly.

50 - Black and Yellow. I knew having her draw this specific character would result in great art.

51 - I always wanted to trade with this guy, and he did NOT disappoint. I knew the moment I gave him the project, the entire location would get a redesign from the result.

52 - bEPSI buzz buzz. It was a very cute drawing, capturing sass in it's purest form.

53 - Nope, not gettin outta this chair.

54 - An example of somebody who finished, but never posted. A weird tend that happens a lot. I get the drawing, but it never gets posted. She did well! I liked it, but I don't know why some people are reluctant to post.

55 - The story begins... Blend has no time for her crap.

56 - I didn't expect to get a sword redesign, but I love it!

57 - Jazz getting drawn once again by the lady that redesigned her. still sassy, still brilliant.

58 - I LOVE THIS TRADE. Marii getting drawn like she's in the old Zelda instruction booklets? YES. MORE PLEASE.

59 - I used the ants again, but I didn't expect 4 designs! A for effort!

60 - I tried way too hard in this trade. However, Jazz looks great.

61 - I simply couldn't draw that character again. It was great exercise, but there was SOOO MANY DETAILS. However, I got the equal for my character, so it balances out.

62 - Jins got a good design, and this guy cleaned it up nicely. I only have one dog character, so I gotta use him in more upcoming trades given the PLETHORA of dog character artists.

63 - I love this drawing. It's a weird occasion where I had to say "less sexy" because it didn't fit.

64 - The demon and the bee. sounds like some kinda opera. Her drawing was pretty simple, but pretty great.

65 - I like this trade, but she didn't like her end. I still love it.

66 - She drew Velvet so Sparkly! I loved it, and hopes she keeps drawing.

67 - This trade made my heart happy. It made me feel like this is how Marii should be.

68 - An almost Tim Burton approach, but still cute. I loved this version of Jazz.

69 - nice.

70 - I was really trying to push myself with Medibang. They did really well, too! A very cute image of Jazz in the Honeybun getup.

71 - Just some weapons. I really wanted to see variations on Marii's sword. It's name is Furui.

72 - Cat I'm a kitty cat. Da da dance dance dance Da da dance dance dance

73 - FIRE

74 - I loved this image. I specially requested that it was like something the artists was also doing. I got exactly what I wanted to see.

75 - So Chibi. Very Kawaii.

76 - I feel like a simple Pokemon for a complex costume wasn't fair to her, but I loved the drawing.

77 - I love the Pepper drawing. I want her to be a radical, burning entity that still smiles and loves life.

78 - A very nice trade with a new artist. I want her to get more attention.

79 - The natural step-up from the first time. Marii may be a fighter, but I think her ability to cook defines her just as much. This drawing is a great representation of that.

80 - A VERY good artist giving a different interpretation of Velvet, a grown woman. I realized that Velvet should not be depicted as young, despite being beautiful.

81 - Yes, Marii's mom is a tiger. She's adopted. Hard fact to hide. I'm still working on that comic. I might make a short comic as a test.

82 - THIS DRAWING IS AMAZING. The rarity of a landscaper is just staggering, and finding one is one of the biggest joys of this site. The dragon design is also amazing.

83 - SO many pets. This person should design Pokemon.

84 - A very stylized interpretation of Jars. I think it really captures her personality.

85 - I think Roulette is great. Cake, anybody.

86 - Jazz is a greaser. Deal with it.

87 - Marii as a little menace. Very cute.

88 - A very stylish Blend Brewing. I like the drawing, despite not really affecting her canon design.

89 - Big bad ladies with the curves.

90 - ANOTHER LANDSCAPER! Really gets down the color and feel of the area he drew, and his world was fun to draw too.

91 - Classy. I honestly felt like I got dunked on by her skill.

92 - He drew a really good soupy boi.

93 - A very cartoony Velvet! I love this drawing, it encapsulates how I want Velvet to feel as a person. I'd love to trade again, but she seems busy.

94 - My one regret is that I have no way to contact this artist. I don't know how.

95 - Another artist I can't contact. I forgot my Instagram, I created it only to discuss the trade.

96 - PLEASE TELL HER SHE DID WELL I LOVE THAT DRAWING OF JAZZ AS AN ANIME THING.

97 - I love pbnj's. It's a very soft image.

98 - Orlean, ready for a 19th daughter.

99 - I love this drawing of Jazz! So much effort went into it!

100 - This drawing isn't done yet, but at this point, I trust she will revolutionize another character's design.

I do a LOT of art-trades. I've done over 100 at this point. I am definitely not interested in just drawing a character in a standard pose. Heck, I'd be way happier if I had to draw something that had no characters in it whatsoever. Let's draw a house! Some food! A car, a train, a boat, a planet, a weapon, a restaurant, a landscape, a town, SOMETHING, ANYTHING. Characters can't possibly be the only thing you're interested in, that's all I'm asking for.
Of course, I can include a character or characters if you still want them. An empty restaurant would be pretty weird. Just... be creative, okay?
