Description
Just my ACTUAL 'Darkwing Duck' fancharacter!Yep, she's a mutant plant-duck, like Bushroot. Based on the Nymphaeaceae plant, she is, as you can see.
She doesn't actually NEED it (how anatomically correct is a Barbie? She's the same), but she dawned a skirt since she didn't have Bushroot's convenient rooty/barky lower torso.
And, yeah, she's got all the powers Bushroot has, without his scientific genious. And that mask she wears? Well, she's got a Phantom of the Opera dealie going on, that wasn't all nicely fixed up by her mutation. That explains her eye, too.. I dunno how her eye was damaged - I mean, if she's blind or almost blind, but I'm guessing so. However, it might have just been deranged.
I've written a story about her and how she ended up all mutated and, to be fair, I didn't know Bushroot liked pink when I picked out her colours (I actually threw that in because I knew the character, with her decidedly gothy attitude, would just HATE pink - same reason I gave her a flower-bud tail, too).
Anyway, there you go.
And before she was a mutant plant-duck, she was an outcast, shying away from social contacts, and a criminal (out of anger). Oh yeah, and a really good singer (though only managed to produce one studio album), until her accident, when she went into hiding and gave completely into her anti-social behaviourisms and took up a life of crime.
Little bit of trivia: I never imagined I'd create a blonde character. (I have something against that hair-colour in regards to 'representations of myself'.) But, waterlilies come in purple (which is the haircolour Bushroot already has), pink (represented in the petals dangling from her neck), yellow and white, so...
Also, she was not MEANT to be a love-interest to Bushroot, he was just a means to an end. But, I'm apparently cheaper than I thought, and the she might be heading in that direction (after working with him in regards to her transformation, she developed quite a crush on the goo-er, bad ol' Doctor).
In the picture, she's doing her, ah, telepathic-plant-communicating thing to make some grass grow. I was just too lazy to draw in her subjects. So, the light source is focused on the absent ones.
BTW, the black/white showcase-style background was inspired by sibsy.deviantart.com/ (who did the Fearsome Five + Darkwing himself in such a background). Hope she doesn't mind.
Lastly, I'm not 'getting better' at CG'ing, I'm getting back up to where I was with cel-style colouring/shading.

Well, thank you very much! Β This isn't one of my best, I don't think - I have better drawings of her. Specifically, where her design got refined.
