It's a good poem. I agree to most.
Though it's very unhealthy to look at the dark side. And you can always find light.
Some people have it very bad. But the most powerful thing you could do is try to always look to the bright side.
Expressing yourself is fine. You don't need to always look down. You need to look up and face whatever Is clogging your life from happiness. push it away.
Appearance is fine. express yourself and wear what you want.
But if you're depressed then I think people should find help.
Of course everyone's story is different. But one thing for everyone, The entire world doesn't hate you.
So, Like I said, I do not know anything about any of you whom may be Emo. So don't be negative to me!
It is a nice poem though

I'll admit, I'm not that big of a fan of the structural and overall composition of the poem, but I must add:

Why does it matter if you are emo or not? If you are sad and have a frown on your face, it must because of psychological problems. You shouldn't display yourself as an emotion you are not just to fit a stereotype. Even if you have the common characteristics of any stereotype, simply be yourself. Wear lots of makeup? Sure if that is what you want. Black nail polish? All your preference. Simply be yourself whether it is exactly like a stereotype or not.

As for the sadness, fix that if you want. I find it a bit offensive if people wear sadness like an attention stimulant or just so they can be a stereotype. Unless you have real problems (possibly ones you want fixing), then I suggest being yourself and not worrying whether or not you are an error. After all, what you do in life and how you do it is all up to you and not by anyone's judgment.
