WATERCOLOR: ROSES IN GLASSNine years ago (2011), my dearest friend Astrid died of lung cancer at the age of 57. She was a visual artist. Flowers and everyday objects have often been the subject of her work. Her graphic work, watercolors, drawings, oil and acrylic paintings form fragile and personal memories of her special life.
Since I have photographed a lot of her work, I will regularly submit one of her works as a memory of Astrid, always entitled 'In loving memory ASTRID VAN LEEST ...'

I do not know him but I assume he is an artist that you admire and I shall be endeavor to seek him out —-If he impressed you I am sure I shall be overwhelmed by his legacy.
