Hellow everybody! After 2 months of hard work it is finally done!
Yes... 2 months again, just like my last Zelda Fanart... I just end up no good if I try a Speedpaint...
I refer to the last Boss Fight of The Legend of Zelda - Skyward Sword where you have to let your sword get hit by lightning. Just this single moment where it comes down from the dark, cloudy sky... Just epic! So I decided to catch that moment in a picture.
Demises Sword Ghirahim had cost me so many nerves! Honestly, I can't remember how often I wanted to die because of this F***ing Sword... I like Ghirahim actually in some way, but that sword.... Let's not talk about it...

I really like the looks of the light... I tried to give Link a fierce facial expression, to show his rage about what Demise did to Zelda and Links determination to stop him.
Boss fights are always very inspiring. At least I think they are. If you think about Okami and the last battle against Yami, I just recall pure epicness! I love epic moments! Who doesn't?

I felt so freaking powerful when Link rose his sword to the sky and lightning just shot through the Master Sword. The final battle with Demise really had an intense feel that you were actually experiencing the battle with Link. As I said before, it makes you feel so powerful with Link. All Zelda titles has had this effect on me and this is why I can say that The Legend of Zelda will forever be in my childhood and even my adulthood. I am 20 years old and I still play Ocarina of Time on my 3DS and on my N64.
Link, the hero of legend, will forever be a part of my life.Β Β Β

It's a bit older already, but still...
I personally really like the feeling of this image. The lighting is so powerful and adds a lot to link's expression and pose. You captured that quite nicely, very determined, dynamic and natural. The rest of the image is a bit lackluster compared to that...especially the fog (very filter-ish or photoshop-ish). I know how hard it is to make fog, though >XD Also, it lacks a bit in details compared to link...
THe general composition works out quite well, with the second sword in the foreground, it provides a good second focal point. So, despite being a bit inbalanced in terms of details, it's still a great piece. The hard work was wort it, definitely

This definitely captures the epic energy of Link's duel with Demise. Great job with the details on Ghirahim and with Link's fierce expression as he summons a lightning bolt with the Master Sword. Your technique and use of a dark color palette intensifies the scene. "There can be only one!!" Lol. Keep up the good work!

Jenny, das ist dein Meisterwerk! Das Licht ist so schΓΆn, die Pose und der Gesichtsausdruck so expressiv und die Komposition passt auch wunderbar! Das ist die MΓΌhe und Zeit echt Wert!
Mach so weiter!
Boss Fights sind wirklich fast immer super inszeniert. Da muss ich mich an die beiden letzten KΓ€mpfe von Persona 3 und dessen Epilog erinnern, einfach nur fantastisch.
