Well here's a short briefing of it. You more or less are a combination of a light form and god. You start out life as a little cell, You eat stuff and then mate. When you mate you decide how you will evolve by adding limbs and other body parts you collect. Once done you're reborn. You eat some more and mate repeating the cycle until you're smart enough to go on land. In land you eat and mate and add Body parts until you're smart enough to become a tribe. When you're a tribe it's more about gathering food, making shelter and fighting with you're neighbors. At this point i think you can't add anymore body parts. Once you're smart enough you become a city and control it as a whole. While a city you now gather a spice that naturally happens all around the planet (looks like your thing but cartoonish). As a city your goals are to make your city happy and productive. You also fight wars and trade with other cities, along with conforming them to your religion. Once you dominate your whole planet you now take on to space and basically the same thing just on a huge scale. Spice is important and different planets have different colors. Depending how rare or valuable another species (from another planet) things the spice is you can sell it. and the game is over when you reach the center of the galaxy. I got bored of the game before i was even close to it
