Description the consistency of something so beautiful softens the reality that with such beauty comes the slime. the slimey, ugliness that dwells beneath. the beauty protects the ugly and the ugly protects the beauty. only THAT is consistent through my world. both within and without.

I love how there is a tiny plant hiding in he shadows beneath the ledge! It is amazing how there is no seperation between ugliness and beauty when nature is concerned...everything is perfect and thats all that matters.

yeah. we could all learn quite the lesson from Mother we call Nature. couldn't we? but whose perfection is it. yours? or mine? where you see beauty, I see ugliness. and where you see the ugly I find the beauty. for me, this picture isn't beautiful because of the sporatic plant in the shadows, its beautiful because of the ugliness, the infestation that has tried to smother the rocks. coating them with a slickness that adds to them- their beauty. atleast, for me.

I agree about that....I also find it very beautiful that the two work together. I just thought it was neat that there was a little plant hiding in there.
